INTRODUCTION

 

First, Social Diary Ink is a company that has been in business since September 9, 1997 helping people communicate by means of open expression and inspirational opinions.  Social Diary Online began in September 2009 and it communicates to a daily network to 1,944 participants through our online network. 

 

SPARKING YOUR LISTENERS

 

People in general are interested in 4 major things:  Eating;  Traveling/Entertainment;  Caring for Family;  & Making Money.  Not necessarily in that order, but overall these four categories, regardless of how broad, retain the interest of people and all four are required for any successful show.

 

 People want to hear about these topics, they want to be heard when it comes to these topics, they like to know when it comes to these topics and they like to laugh in certain instances when it comes to these topics.  Three of Social Diary Daily’s most important ingredients are:  Hear, Talk, Laugh.  And while hearing, talking or reading about other people seems to be so catching, what we really love most is the idea of reading, hearing and talking about ourselves.  If we are able to attach ourselves with a show by comparison, comprehension or principle, our interests are sparked and we are interested in that show, station or event by means of attachment.  Social Diary Daily, provides all these aspects of the radio network.

 

WHY SOCIAL DIARY DAILY

 

When it comes to sparking ones interests, Social Diary Daily is defined by such.  People find themselves involved in various social situations everyday and most of the time, we have no clue as to how we got there, how we will get away from there or if we ever will.  Social Diary Daily demonstrates ways to satisfy certain social situations, by way of controlling the situation, avoiding the situation, or preparing for the situation. 

 

By utilizing opinions, viewpoints, experiences, and occasional expert feedback, current listeners and new listeners will receive satisfactory levels of confidence in our show which leads to them being compatible with our show.

 

 You see Social Diary Daily does more than just talk or provide contest winnings.  We make our audience become a part of us, so they feel they are expressing themselves in ways that others will benefit from their story.  We make them feel comfortable with us in that they know their private information, such as their name and e-mail addresses are not shared with others without their consent.  We make them feel appreciated for listening to our show because we reward them through our sponsors.  They don’t just win contests; they win esteem, motivation, inspiration and empowerment.  We inculcate their ideas, their thoughts and opinions within the guidelines of our show and create successful shows every time.

 

TARGET AUDIENCE

 

We are aware that your current audience has a great mixture of men and women.  Although Social Diary Daily is favored by an audience of women, our impartiality to men is seen by the topics we discuss.  The topics that are discussed are well rounded and documented to prevent stereotypical expressions and prejudice towards any sex or race.  When it comes to Social Diary Daily, our levels of motivation, inspiration and empowerment allows both male and female to grasp the aspirations of our daily content.  I haven’t seen a man yet, who is not interested in Social Diary Daily ingredients which were:  Hear, Talk, Laugh.  So while the content may affect women in a different manner than men, the end results are the same. Social Diary Daily sparks the interests of people with topics of interests that allows them to do their favorite things hear, talk and laugh.

 

SO WHAT DOES SOCIAL DIARY DAILY TALK ABOUT

 

As a sociology major, I’ve learned the benefits of reading body language.  However, when on radio, you cannot read a person’s body language to determine their interest; you simply use the statistical data and research to determine the best interests for your audience.

 

As you will notice in the outline of shows for the Social Diary Daily, there are not any typical titles yet the topics are based on the interest of your audience as provided by means of surveys and research polls.  Regardless of whether they actively participate in the diary aspect of the show, your audience welcomes the opportunity to hear, to know, to agree or disagree, to talk if they choose to and to be able to laugh when they want to.

 

Social Diary Daily is a one hour show with weekly segment additions which we call perks.   Each day is opened with the Social Diary social phrase or question of the day.  The show then discusses a few answers that are submitted by our listeners and participants of the Social Diary.  Next, the show features a quick and easy recipe idea where we deliver a quick recipe daily.   Then it proceeds to discuss the topic of the day.

 

On a weekly basis, we host certain segments which serve to benefit the esteem, finances or joy of our listeners.  One segment is the “Boost Your Profession” segment that I discussed briefly in an example earlier.  Another is the “Social Fantasy” segment, in which a participant of the Social Diary is chosen to have one of the answers they provided for one of the phrases or questions granted.
